Which set should I order?

We are offering three sets to pledge for on Kickstarter! For most backers, we would recommend the Kickstarter Special ($35 for Early Birds) as it has the best value and is only available for a limited time during the campaign! It includes all basic cards, 3D tokens and 3 MOKURU, yet doesn’t cost much!

There is also a pledge for the Expansion Set ($85) that include more items. All expansion cards and stretch goals will be included as well as T-shirt, Squishies and two styles of limited boxing for your selection. It would be a good idea to pledge those if you like the accessories too. Most will be available as add-on for any pledge at a slightly higher price.

Is it easy to start playing MOKURU?

Sure! Everyone can flip the MOKURU immediately and learn the basic tricks in minutes. More advanced tricks will require more practice but nothing is too hard!

Can I play the CARD GAME anywhere, like at my local cafe?

The original MOKURU is made out of wood and can be quite noisy when played on hard surface. The special MOKURU for CARD GAME is made out of plastic and doesn’t make much noise - you can play it at the cafe.

Is this game suitable for young children?

Yes, all children above the age of 7 can enjoy MOKURU safely!

How long does an average round takes?

It depends on the players, but an average round usually takes about 20-30 minutes.

Can I get Kickstarter exclusive items elsewhere?

By exclusive it means exclusive! Kickstarter exclusive items are only available for pledge at Kickstarter and during the campaign!

Can I order MOKURU CARD GAME on retail?

If the campaign gets successfully funded, MOKURU CARD GAME will be available for retail after all backer rewards have been delivered. The pledge prices are however lower than retail and you will get them before everyone else!

How do I choose different selections?

If you have pledged for a set with selections, you will be able to choose on the survey, which will become available a while after the campaign is funded.

Can I order MOKURU CARD GAME in other languages?

The items are only printed in English, but the full player’s guide is available in both English and French! You will be able to access both after the end of campaign.

How much will shipping cost?

We will charge shipping fee once the Kickstarter is over, based on the actual costs. We will collect the delivery information after the end of campaign. We will ship your rewards from our warehouse once production is completed.

Zone A ($10): USA, France, United Kingdom, Japan, China, Macau and Hong Kong Zone B ($10): Europe: Germany, Republic of Ireland, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Czech Republic, Canada and Australia Zone C ($10-15): Rest of the world. We cannot delivery to PO Box.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
